Changing Times
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; ... A time to get, and a time to lose; ..." Ecclesiastes 3 : 1,2,6
These verses have never been so real in our lives as in the last few weeks. On September 24 we "got" another daughter as Gabbi arrived from Mexico. It was a blessing to have her in our home. She quickly became a part of our family as well as our church family and friends. On November 11 we "lost" 2 daughters as Kali and Gabbi left for Mexico. Gabbi said she was going to miss her 3 brothers Zach, Nate and Caleb as well as all the new friends she made in the States. We will also miss her and her smile. It was very hard to say goodbye to both Kali and Gabbi but we are looking forward to seeing them both again soon.
The "cousins" came to say goodbye
On November 15 we received an early morning call that Grandpa Miller had died. He had been declining over the past week but it is still hard even though you know it is coming. We are thankful that Kali had the opportunity to say goodbye before leaving. November 15 was also the morning we planned to begin moving out of our house. It was a long tiring day but we managed to get most everything moved. We are very thankful for Glen and Mardel Ott who offered us their home while they are in Florida. We are so blessed by our church family and friends.
Our temporary new home.
On the lighter side, Zach got his braces off this week. So here is the picture you asked for, Kali.
We still don't have a final date when we plan to leave, but will hopefully know soon. Please remember us in your prayers.
