Has it really been 2 weeks since I updated this blog?
Greetings from the Zobrist's
Another 2 weeks has flown by with work teams here from Cissna and Forrest. They have made a lot of progress at the Church and the fellowship is great. We have made so many new friends and have such a wonderful church family. Ruth and Kali are still patiently trying to teach us the language and we seem to be making a little progress. I can pick out a few words and sentences here and there but still have a long way to go. Being around the kids and out in the community and not being able to communicate is a great motivator to learn. If you want to pray for us, pray that we can learn this language.

Mario, Alexia, Kali (After getting her face in the cake on her birthday) and Michael
Nate with Ruth's Children Joshua, Manuel, Betza and Angel.
I could go on and on. My goal is to include pictures of each of the kids over the next few blogs. It's been such a blessing to get to know them although I still get names mixed up from time to time. Please remember them in your prayers.
We now have an Arizona address.
1200 Mariposa Rd
PMB box 46
Nogales, AZ 85621
We also have home phone. 1-309-222-2412 It's a Peoria number through Vonage.
I had to add just one last picture.
It's taken hours of meticulous training but we finally have Rico drinking his juice with a straw.

Seeing all of these pictures just makes us miss you guys more. I am glad that you are doing well. May God bless and keep you safe.
Please pass along our sympathy to Bill and Joan for the passing of Bill's brother Ted.
Love in Christ.
Greetings to the Zobrist family (including Rico) from Russ & Carol! We enjoyed seeing pictures of your new life! It sounds as though you have been extremely busy with some adventure. The most adventure that we had is when Russ dropped his cell phone down the ice fishing hole in 15' of water, recovered it a week later, and got the 300 contact numbers transferred into his new phone! But that just doesn't beat bike accidents and travel adventures!
Hope your language study is coming along. We will be taking pizza from the Mercantile (Eduardo's pizza) to Joyce & Rusty Friday night, we hope.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Num. 6:24-26
Missing you here but praying that you feel many blessings in the work of the Lord.
Love,
Doug, Lynnette, Dawn, Heather, Joshua, Ivy, Holly, and Laurel
