Has it really been 2 weeks since I updated this blog?

Greetings from the Zobrist's

Another 2 weeks has flown by with work teams here from Cissna and Forrest. They have made a lot of progress at the Church and the fellowship is great. We have made so many new friends and have such a wonderful church family. Ruth and Kali are still patiently trying to teach us the language and we seem to be making a little progress. I can pick out a few words and sentences here and there but still have a long way to go. Being around the kids and out in the community and not being able to communicate is a great motivator to learn. If you want to pray for us, pray that we can learn this language.

I wanted to add some pictures of the kids. They are the real reason CVE exists. Proverbs 22:6 says "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Pray that these children can learn of the ways of God and the staff will have the wisdom to teach them.

I could go on and on. My goal is to include pictures of each of the kids over the next few blogs. It's been such a blessing to get to know them although I still get names mixed up from time to time. Please remember them in your prayers.

We now have an Arizona address.

1200 Mariposa Rd

PMB box 46

Nogales, AZ 85621

We also have home phone. 1-309-222-2412 It's a Peoria number through Vonage.

I had to add just one last picture.

It's taken hours of meticulous training but we finally have Rico drinking his juice with a straw.
